VIGILANT® provides a simple non-spray alternative for selectively controlling invasive weed species.
VIGILANT® is available in a 240 gram brush bottle, a 1.8 kg refill pack, and a 20kg pail with pump.
As VIGILANT® comes ready to use, there is no need for mixing and it can be applied directly to plant material. The product has low toxicity and is easy to use.
VIGILANT® is suitable for use in native bush, conservation areas, lifestyle blocks, farm bush covenants, home gardens, gullies, reserves and parks.
VIGILANT® is currently registered in New Zealand for use on:
Agapanthus (Agapanthus praecox)
Climbing spindleberry (Celastrus orbiculatus )
Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster simonsii )
Darwin's barberry (Berberis darwinii )
Elaeagnus (Elaeagnus x reflexa )
Gorse (Ulex europaeus )
Grey willow (Salix cinerea )
Japanese honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica)
Kahili ginger (Hedychium gardnerianum )
Old Man's Beard (Clematis vitalba )
Wandering jew/willie (Tradescantia fluminensis )
Woolly nightshade (Solanum mauritianum)
Research trials by HortResearch have shown that VIGILANT® has close to 100 percent control of these weeds when used correctly.
